Kids Club

(The following is an excerpt from a letter delivered to our Kids Club Parents)

It’s with a lot of different emotions that we write this letter to you today. We want to first start off by saying thank you for the privilege and opportunity you have given us to get to know your family. We love your kids! Thank you for allowing them to come and be a part of our Monday night Kids Club program. It has been one of our biggest blessings to do life with them.

The past 5 years Eureka Bible Church has generously offered us the use of their building for our activities. It has been an honor to partner with them and see many of your children plug into the Wednesday night children’s programs and youth group activities. We get even more excited when we hear that some of you are attending on Sundays!

As you know, we have had leaders come and go over the years due to different commitments and life circumstances. Many of our current leaders will no longer be able to participate in the upcoming year. As each new semester approaches, we have felt the need to re-evaluate and see whether maintaining a Monday night program will be possible or not.

After a lot of prayer and consideration, we regret to say that this season of Kids Club has come to an end. This was a very hard decision to make as a team, however we believe that because of the long-term opportunities available for your family at Eureka Bible Church, this is the best decision.

We still want to continue being a support to your family and helping you in whatever way possible. We have loved the relationships that have been built over the years, and are in no way desiring to end these! If your children are not currently attending Wednesday night programs or Sundays we would love to help make that possible!

We want you to know we have prayed every Monday night following Kids Club for your family. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to share the greatest message ever told about Jesus Christ. Our theme for Kids Club over the years has been 1 Thessalonians 2:8 “Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.”

Thank you for that privilege.

A special thanks to all those who have opened up their homes to the kids over the years, for the hundreds of Monday night snacks prepared and served, mileage driven to help us cover rides, money donated for special events like the Creation Museum field trip and Art & Dance Camps, Jesus story book Bibles we were able to deliver to new kids every Christmas, thousands of prayers prayed with ours for the salvation of the families we love, and for the countless other ways people have poured themselves into this ministry and offered their support.

An even bigger thank you to all the leaders who've personally invested into the lives of these kids and families over the years.
